What are the right sizes of photos for me?

The images you downloaded are output by different cameras, scanners or other equipment.
The default resolution on some of them could be lower than 300 dpi. This doesn't mean that the file is not usable.
Before you download a file, first make sure you check the “Pixels" and “Inches” displayed within the “Buy stock” page for both web and print use.
Use any graphical software to adjust its resolution.

How do I search by photo ID number?

Type the photo ID number directly into the search bar.

Can I change the password of my account?

YES. To change your password, click on the ‘My Account’ link at the top of the site. On the right side of the page under ‘Tools’ click ‘Edit  Information’. Then click on ‘Modify Login Password’.

What does "Level" stand for?

The Level reflects the level of the quality and the popular of the photo, hence determines the pricing levels within South PHOTOCHINA.
Level 1 is the lowest quality / popular, hence the cheapest pricing. Higher Level attracts higher pricing.

Are the images free of watermarks?

All high-resolution images you download after “BUY” will have no watermarks. The only images watermarked are the thumbnails visible on the site. You can download a file by using the Download button located on the Image details page, right below the description. Read the information from the 'Download confirmation' page carefully as it contains useful information regarding how to successfully retrieve the file in various ways.

How do I buy photo from your site and what are Credits?

Buying photos will need Credits, South PHOTOCHINA’s own currency and pricing system. Purchase credits through a plan and spend them whenever you download a photo. We offer Pay-as-you-go credits and Subscriptions. We accept credit cards, PayPal, or money order (in USD funds). Invoices are provided for all credits/subscriptions acquired on our site. Credits are used to download images (as the site's currency; 1 credit=max. 1USD) and expire after 12 months.

Once you find the photo you’d like to download, click on the thumbnail and the photo will open. To the right of the photo, select the size you require and click ’Buy.’

Click on the ‘My Account’ link at the top of the site to enter BuyCart. Select the photo you sure you want to buy.Click Clearing and the price in credits for that photo will be deducted from your account balance. The unused credits are kept in your account for future use. You have 3 days to re-download this file without being charged additional credits.

What is your pricing system for buying photos?

Aiming to make easier to you, we have simplified to license of images usage, giving you the freedom you need for any project with an easier to use pricing structure. A fixed, flat-rate system that's easier to use. It's the best value for the greatest freedom over how you use your image.

We provide a Standard Royalty Free License which is suitable for most types of usage at a very low cost. For example, it only costs $1 for a XS size Level 1 Photo.

Credits can be purchased on line, every 1 credit worth from USD $0.70 to USD $ 1.00 depending on credit packages purchased.



However, there are times when this license may not fit your usage. In such cases, you can check one of the additional Extended Licenses which provides additional rights over the use of an image, for an additional cost. The pricing of the Extended License is as below:

The Standard RF License Agreement limits the amount of times you may print the Content up to 10,000 reproductions. By purchasing this extension, you can make an unlimited number of reproductions.

Items for Resale (unlimited)

You may purchase Extended Licenses allowing unlimited number uses of the Content in items for resale, license, or other distribution, including: (i). cards, stationery items, stickers, or paper products,  (ii). posters, calendars, mugs, or mousepads,(iii). t-shirts, apparel items, games, toys, entertainment goods, or framed artwork.

Electronic Items for Resale

80 credits

You may also purchase the option to resell the Content in an unlimited number of electronic templates for e-greeting or similar cards, electronic templates for web or applications development, PowerPoint or Keynote templates, screensavers, and email or brochure templates.

We partnered with XX to provide you several options for buying the photos you like. You can pay using your PayPal account or if you don't have one, using your credit card via the XX option. We accept all major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover).

Please advise how to buy credits?

Our credit packages are tailored for your needs. If you use many images on the long term, then a higher package is suggested, in order to take advantage of the higher discounts. If you need less images choose a less expensive package. The pricing system is included as below:

Become a regular at South PHOTOCHINA. We are happy to discuss further in detail to customize your own Subscription plan or Corporate Account and save on credits. For example to set a monthly fixed payment, you can use a certain credits a day for a whole year. Use your daily credit limit to download royalty-free stock photography.

Why are some images I downloaded not the size or dpi that is listed on the site?

Our photos are provided by many photographers and the default resolution on photos could be lower or higher than 300dpi. If you’re using Adobe® Photoshop®, go to ‘Image’ --- ‘Image Size’ and you’ll see that the resolution listed may be something other than 300dpi. Uncheck the ‘Resample image’ option and change the dpi of the file to the correct dpi. The height and width of the file will change in the document size window to reflect the change. Click ok and you’re done.
